The best representation of the F50 super car in the kit form. Full engine, suspension, and interior detail. Parts for both Barchetta and Berlinetta body styles. Excellent parts fit, great engine bay detail, even some (not very convincing pattern) carbon fiber decals provided in the kit. Superb chrome, nice rubber-like tires, great instructions. Metal transfers. If you would like to build an F50 - this is the kit to get. Can be easily found in many retail stores and online. Prices are very reasonable, much lower than original retail.

Catalogue numbers of box-sets are different from original release. the kit was never officially available in USA, but easily obtainable on eBay.

Incredible number of details that allow to create an ultimate replica of the Enzo. Highly detailed body, with opening doors and rear cowl allows to view engine and interior even after assembly. Excellent parts fit (almost perfect), good chrome plating, very nice tires, great looking (and actually working) metal transfers, traditional window masks, mesh, great thin decals (compatible with Microsol I used), great instruction sheet. Incomplete painting instructions, full painting guide given only for red color. No mention of what parts are made from carbon fiber, so you need a lot of reference pictures to figure out where to apply C/F decals. Fragile door hinges - too thin for working doors. Overall, this is one amazing kit. Tamiya blows the doors out with this one! Its quite complicated, and I would not recommend it for beginners, but experienced modelers will enjoy it a lot. Quality of Tamiya moldings and engineering is outstanding, and in my opinion, this is one of the best plastic kits issued over last 10 years, beating even Tamiya's excellent F360 Modena kit. If you looking to buy this on - it will not disappoint. Freely available from many retail stores and online. Prices are usually lower than retail suggested.

Advanced and quite involved multimedia transkit to turn Tamiya Enzo kit into FXX racer. Requires original Tamiya kit. The transkit is made by Model Factory Hiro, but marketed by EJAN. Very high quality resin castings, lots of photoetch and turned parts, very high quality decals. This transkit was announced before Tamiya kit, but Tamiya announcement pretty much killed the sales due to its high price.

Finally Revell has released a kit that is not kitted by anybody else! Ok, where to start? Body is molded in one piece (less rear bumper), and is a very nice (although somewhat thick) mold, with almost non-existent mold lines, and nice an smooth surface. Panel lines are a bit on the soft side, but all other details are quite prominent. Shape of the body looks very good to me. All parts are bagged in separate bags and all molded in white plastic. Chrome tree has superb chrome plating, even though its a bit on the heavy side. Wheels provided as a two-piece chromed parts. Tires are usual Revell shiny parts, this time without any sidewall markings. Thread looks good though, no mold line in the middle! This is a full engine kit, so there are plenty of engine and engine bay parts on few separate runners. The engine looks good! Brakes are not so good though, very faint detail and small calipers. Interior is a tub, with separate door panels, three-piece front seats, and two-piece dashboard. All interior details look very good, with nice and crisp engravings. Chassis and suspension is equally nicely molded, with separate suspension arms, shocks, wheel wells, and covers. Exhaust system is also separate and looks superb. Clear parts are packed into separate bag, all windows are separate (they mount flush from outside of the body!) No red or amber-colored clear parts provided. Decals are nice and feature all necessary emblems and badges, including some under hood markings, interior markings, and lots of license plates. Some license plates have problems with registration in my sample though. Instructions are a big step forward for Revell, with much better drawings, parts list, and translation on several languages. Overall, its is a very nice kit, and probably one of the best Revell kits of late. I can't really comment on the fit and other assembly problems, but it looks like a winner so far! Since Revell kit most likely will be the only 612 Scaglietti offering on the market, I'm sure it will be a great success.
